Lately I have noticed quite a few grunge style brushes, wallpapers, and other things based off of the grunge look, so I thought I would take a stab at making my own grunge wallpaper.

I have noticed a lot of 3d looking icons on sites lately and I realized that they use simple techniques to achieve some nice effects. I thought I would write a tutorial on simple ways to create some of these effects.

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to put any car on the showroom floor, even yours. I could not find a good stock photo of my car so I just found a random picture to use to explain these methods. Here is a comparison of where I started and where I finished.

I have seen quite a few tutorials on this but I think the method I am going to show you is one of the easiest ways to achieve a pretty stunning icon effect. This will only take around 4 steps but I will go into detail on how to create an icon similar to these.

Vista has a pretty modern look and I thought this tutorial could show you techniques
to develop a button that looks similar to Vista’s menu.. Also, you could use this
tutorial to create a menu bar for a site or anything else you may want to do.
